Why parents choose it
Most play sinks recycle the same water. Ours never does.

Around 3, the question starts — can I help? By 7 or 8, helping is something you have to ask for. There is no second window.
Children who help prepare a meal test better on working memory and inhibition. That work happens at a bench they can't reach, so we built them one they can.

15 minutes at their kitchen together, across a year. Not extra time you have to find after your busy day — time you were already spending in the same room.
Dinner has to happen anyway. One small change — a bench at their height — turns a chore you get through into a memory you share, and a routine they start looking forward to.

The only one
They correct themselves, mid-task
We haven't found another toddler kitchen with real running water and a mirror splashback.
Caught in the moment, it's a lesson. Left for a month, it's just how they do it — and then it has to be unlearned.
So we built the correction into the bench. Tilt the glass and the water goes over the side. Lean in and the mirror shows them their own hands. They fix it before anyone tells them to.
Food-grade stainless undermount sink; two 5 L tanks that never meet. Independently tested by SGS to AS/NZS ISO 8124.1:2023 and AS/NZS 62115:2018 + Amd 1:2021, for ages 3 and up.
They ask for four years. We built the thing that lets you say yes.
How it works
Clean water up. Used water down.
Behind the cupboard doors sit two 5 L tanks. The tap only ever draws from the clean one, and the sink only ever drains into the used one. They never mix, so every pour is fresh.

Designed not to overflow. Both tanks hold 5 L, so as long as water only comes from the tap and the sink isn’t plugged, the used tank always has room.
Rechargeable tap. Charges by USB-C, so there’s no plumber or electrician needed.
Your only job: empty and rinse both tanks at least once a week.

Our story
Made by WA parents. Engineered for little hands.
One of us keeps gas flowing through pipelines. The other designs where water drains. So when our toddler wanted to help at the sink, we knew exactly what to build: clean water in, used water out, and a sturdy frame made for years of daily use.
Our daughter uses it every day, so every detail has been tested by the toughest critic we know.

Questions parents ask
Is the water really clean?
Yes. Clean and used water sit in separate tanks, so the tap only ever pours fresh water. Fill it with tap water and it's as clean as your tap.
Does it need plumbing?
No. The tap is rechargeable by USB-C and the water lives in two removable 5 L tanks. Assemble it, fill it and it's ready to go.
What age is it for?
The Little Kitchen is designed and safety tested for children aged 3 and up, with adult supervision.
How much is delivery, and how long does it take?
Kitchens ship free Australia-wide, except Tasmania ($29) and the NT ($109). They're dispatched from our WA warehouse within 2 business days, tracked and insured. Allow 2–4 days in WA and 5–9 days to the east coast. Street addresses only.
