Terms of service
These terms apply when you use littlehands.com.au or buy from us. They are written to be read, not to hide anything. If something here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in plain words.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Who you are dealing with
Little Hands is operated by Leather Couch Pty Ltd, ABN 18 623 032 342, based in Western Australia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Leather Couch Pty Ltd trading as Little Hands. "You" means the person using the site or placing the order.

2. Using the site
You may browse and buy for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, scrape or copy it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract to place an order.
3. Products, photographs and descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can, including the things most brands leave out β dimensions, weight, assembly time and what is not included.
Please note:
Styling props are not included. Chopping boards, cutlery, glassware, plants and food shown in our photographs are for styling only. What you receive is the list in "What's included" on the product page.
Colours vary between screens. We photograph in natural light and do not retouch finishes, but your monitor or phone will render them slightly differently.
Natural materials vary. Timber grain and finish will differ a little between units. That is the material, not a fault.
We may improve the design over time. We will not reduce the specification of what you ordered without telling you.
4. Age, assembly and supervision
This matters more than the rest, so please read it.
The Little Kitchen is designed and safety tested for children aged 3 and up.
Assembly is an adult job. It takes around 90 minutes with a screwdriver. Follow the instructions, and tighten every fixing before a child uses it.
Adult supervision is required. It is a kitchen with real water, real glassware in some sets, and a stainless steel sink. It is not a babysitter.
Use only clean tap water. Do not fill a tank past 5 L, do not plug the sink, and do not use the tap while it is charging.
Keep it indoors, on a level floor, and check the fixings periodically as you would with any furniture a child climbs near.
Follow the care instructions supplied with the product. They are part of these terms.
Used outside these instructions, the product may not be safe and the warranty may not apply.
5. Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Delivery is calculated separately and shown before you pay β see our Shipping policy.
We may change prices at any time, but never for an order we have already accepted. If a price or product detail is listed incorrectly because of a genuine error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than supply at the wrong price. We will contact you before doing so, and we will not do it to wriggle out of a legitimate sale.
6. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we accept it, which is when we send your dispatch confirmation.
We may decline or cancel an order if the item is out of stock, the price was wrong, we cannot deliver to your address, payment is not authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud or resale. If we do, we refund you in full.
If you need to change or cancel an order, email us immediately. Before dispatch we can almost always help. After dispatch, our Returns & Warranty policy applies.
7. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. We do not store your card details. You confirm you are authorised to use the payment method you choose.
8. Delivery, title and risk
Delivery terms, costs and timeframes are set out in our Shipping policy. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees.
Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery. Damage in transit is covered β see the Returns & Warranty policy.
9. Returns and warranty
Our Returns & Warranty policy forms part of these terms: 30-day change of mind, 48-hour window for transit damage, and a 12-month workmanship warranty, all on top of your Australian Consumer Law rights.
10. Our intellectual property
The Little Hands name, logo, product design, photographs, video and written content on this site are ours, and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may share links to our pages freely. You may not copy our photographs, copy or paraphrase our product copy, or use our name or imagery to sell your own products without written permission.
If you are a creator who wants to use our material, just ask. We usually say yes.
11. Content you give us
If you send us a review, photo or video, you keep ownership of it, but you give us permission to use it on our website, in our marketing and on social media, with credit where we can. You confirm it is yours to give, and that anyone recognisable in it (including your children) is there with the consent of their parent or guardian. Tell us at any time if you want it taken down and we will remove it.
12. Liability
We stand behind what we build, and the Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply in full.
Beyond those guarantees, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to, at our option, replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, or refunding what you paid for them.
We are not liable for loss or damage caused by failure to follow the assembly, safety or care instructions, by use by a child outside the stated age range, by use without adult supervision, or by modification of the product.
We do our best to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13. Links to other sites
Where we link to someone else's site, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
14. Privacy
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy policy.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
17. If something goes wrong between us
Email us first. We are two people, we answer our own email, and we have never had a problem we could not sort out directly.
